Looking, sorting and retrieving my stash

The shelf I am keeping my wool stash really needed some sorting – this happens when you put all kind of things (snippets of wool from the last finished project, new wool I needed to buy and so on) in there “for now” and “put it away properly later”.

Why do I not finish?

Probably there are more people out there that have the same problem as I do: all these lovely WIPs hanging around… And I have to say there are a lot of WIPs in my basket (and the other basket, and in that tote and this paper bag, oh and there are some boxes as well)…

I am the worst at just doing one thing. Maybe it is because my mind wanders to easily and I get distracted too much or because I always felt like I needed to get more out of my time during the day, I cannot say. The only thing where I am not getting distracted very easily is reading. I love books and I love to read (sometimes even more than crocheting…). So for me it is a reoccurring battle of who wins tonight: the book or the crochet hook?

About new ideas and acid-dyed yarn

When a new idea evolves in my head, I’m all like:”go go go let’s do it!” The sooner the better. Cause if I think about it too much or it takes too much time from idea to doing, I might loose interest and never do it at all.
