The shelf I am keeping my wool stash really needed some sorting – this happens when you put all kind of things (snippets of wool from the last finished project, new wool I needed to buy and so on) in there “for now” and “put it away properly later”.
What‘s the worst that could happen?
When I start a new project without a real plan this one is always on my mind: “what’s the worst that can happen?” The answer is: nothing bad. You could lose time because you need to undo stuff. But there are no lives at risk because you just go ahead and try something out. Design Process: from idea to pattern (the chaotic version)
Sometimes when I talk to Sarah and Katharina about their design process, I feel really bad… They tend to think things through and actually do the math on it beforehand. I on the other hand mostly just swing it…
When I start there are mostly pictures in my head (no math anywhere to be seen). So when I started on my corner to corner shrug I didn’t know what exactly it would be just that I wanted some kind of shrug and that I really wanted to try it out. Mood Scarf Crochet Along
Hello and welcome to our first CAL!
What we are doing here is a scarf which shows the moods you had in one month. I already made mine and it is showing the moods of August. I did not work on it every day but wrote down everything for one month and started crocheting afterwards.
